canada day in london

How often do you get to walk over crushed cans of Molson Canadian in Trafalgar Square? I'll tell you, not so often.

However, on July 1, you'll find thousands of Canadians swilling beer and listening to Canadian bands, many wearing red Vancouver Olympic mittens, hockey jerseys, and all those fuzzy top hats emblazoned with maples leafs. Yikes.

It was a curious scene. And it was hard to identify what these people shared... besides an apparent love of beer (and perhaps more tattoos proportionally). I smuggled in a bottle of red wine....

We're still trying to figure this one out.
